Pyramids and Africa Safari Park Excursion

You will be able to see evening Cairo — gorgeous illumination of the huge metropolis, evening Pyramids, magnificent Nile. After a busy day you will have a rest in the hotel, and in the morning you will leave for Africa Safari Park, the only contact zoo in Egypt, where you will be able to enjoy the nature and beautiful inhabitants of the park, with whom you will be able to get acquainted, take pictures, and even feed them, completely disproving the words of Chukovsky’s fairy tale that Africa is dangerous and children should not go there. You will be able to see for yourself how beautiful the inhabitants of the park are: animals of Egypt, as well as other African countries.

Our programme will start around 2 am. The journey to Cairo takes about 6-6,5 hours, taking into account stops on the way. During this time you will be able to rest and sleep in a comfortable minibus on which our journey will take place. On arrival in Cairo in the morning, our programme will start with a visit to the Pyramids of Saqqara. The necropolis at Saqqara is the largest and oldest necropolis in Egypt. Many Pyramids belonging to pharaohs are built in this place, as well as tombs of ancient Egyptian aristocrats and people close to pharaohs. The very first Pyramid, which is also the largest of the Pyramids of Saqqara, is the Pyramid of Djosser, built by the architect Imhotep, who decided to change the rectangular Egyptian mastaba by building upwards, reducing each subsequent level. The Pyramid of Unas is also one of the most famous Pyramids of Saqqara, it is also the only Pyramid with inscriptions. Next you will visit the most mysterious and enigmatic place in Saqqara — the underground serapeum. Serapeum in Saqqara still causes a lot of controversy about its purpose, one of the main versions — it stores granite sarcophagi for sacred bulls, the weight of each of them more than 100 tonnes. After visiting the Pyramids of Saqqara, we drive to Giza, have lunch in a restaurant, and of course visit the only surviving wonder of the world — the Pyramids. People from all over the world come to Egypt for a tour of the Pyramids. The Pyramids of Giza are the 3 largest Pyramids: Cheops, Chephren and Mikeren. The construction and purpose of the Pyramids is still shrouded in a halo of mystery, but despite the numerous versions, the Pyramids are tombs, which were created as burial places. Of course, you will also see the mysterious guardian of the Pyramids at Giza — the Sphinx. Sphinx in Giza, the eternal guardian of the Pyramids, who has the head of a man and the body of a lion. You will learn a lot of interesting information from our professional guide-historian, who will accompany us throughout the trip. Check-in at the hotel, not far from the Pyramids. In the evening, if you wish, you can watch the evening Cairo — it is an amazing sight: the lights of a huge metropolis, floating restaurants on the Nile, with a national show and a sumptuous dinner, or a laser show on the pyramids in Giza. Evening Cairo, also will cause you a lot of unforgettable impressions. Rest at the hotel, in the morning breakfast (included). Departure to Africa Safari Park, the road to which will take no more than 2 hours. Here you will have a completely different, but very positive, experience. Llamas that you can feed from hands, monkeys jumping right on our bus, huge turtles, roe deer and antelopes are waiting for us. Have you ever seen a live hippo? — If not, it’s time to remedy that, because in the African Safari Park you can not only see them, but also feed them almost out of your hand, believe me they look very cute. And what about the hyena? — It is also waiting for some treats from us. Beautiful leopards and graceful family of lions, pelicans and flamingos, huge talking parrots with which you can make unique photos. A boat trip along the river, where huge chimpanzees live on an island and come out and wave to passing boats, begging for a treat. A bird house and a cave with various mammals and small animals are also on the programme. At the end of the tour you will have a delicious lunch (barbecue) at the restaurant in Africa Safari Park.
