Description
The Pyramids are the only surviving wonders of the world today. People from all over the world come to Egypt to see them with their own eyes, because neither photos, videos nor pictures can convey their true size and scale of the Pyramids. When you are near the Pyramids, it is as if you start to rethink life, because it is not for nothing that the Pyramids are considered to be one of the strongest energy points in the world. Moreover, there are not 3 Pyramids in the vicinity of Cairo, as it is considered (the most famous Pyramids in Giza: Cheops, Chephren and Mikeren), there are 137 of them, and all the Pyramids are located in the vicinity of Cairo. And, far not at once the Pyramids have got the correct form. On our unique excursion on Pyramids, which is called ‘Evolution of development of Pyramids’, you can see not only classical Pyramids of Giza, but also unique Necropolis in Saqqara, where the first Pyramid — step Pyramid of Djosser is located, and also the unique Pyramid with inscriptions in the world — Pyramid of Unas, and, certainly, legendary serapeum, keeping many secrets up to our days.
Our unusual excursion to the Pyramids in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, will start at night (approximately at 02.00 — 03.00), our comfortable minibus will pick you up from your hotel. The journey to Cairo takes about 6 hours from Hurghada (450km), during which time you can rest and sleep on the bus. At around 09.00 you will be in the capital of Egypt. Our tour will start with a visit to the Necropolis at Saqqara so that you can see with your own eyes the evolution of the Pyramids — from the first Step Pyramid of Djosser, built by the architect Imhotep, by building up the upper blocks, reducing the size of each level, to the classical Pyramids at Giza. Here, in Saqqara, you can see the only Pyramid in the world with inscriptions — the Pyramid of Unas, inside which, you will discover some very interesting facts. Well and the most interesting mysterious and enigmatic place in the necropolis is the underground serapeum, the purpose and construction of which still causes many disputes and contradictions between Egyptologists. The Serapeum is an underground tunnel with huge sarcophagi weighing about 100 tonnes without lids. A professional historical guide will tell you about all existing versions about the creation of the Serapeum. Next in the programme — lunch in a restaurant in Giza, after which you will visit the only surviving wonder of the world — the Great Pyramids of Giza, where the guide will tell you about their creation, size and purpose. And, at the end of the programme, you will see the mysterious ‘guardian of the Pyramids’ — the Sphinx, which has the head of a man and the torso of a lion. From our guide you will learn many interesting facts about this amazing creature. Departure to Hurghada, return to the hotel tentatively 21.00-22.00
